I've got my cool new shell - now how do I install it?
Press and hold the power button for three seconds to turn your Sidekick off. Turn the device over. With the
camera at the top, slide the end-cover to the left with your left thumb, while carefully pressing the notched
line, and lift the end-cover to remove it.
Slide the battery cover to the right by carefully pressing the notched line on the cover with your left
thumb. Lift the cover to remove it.
Take your new end-cover and slide it back to the original position.
Replace the battery cover by aligning its notched line with the notched line on the end cover and sliding it
back into place.
Turn your Sidekick back on.

What's the difference between a skin and a shell?
Skins are an adhesive vinyl that you can apply to a device.
Shells are actual parts, manufactured
specifically for the Sidekick, and printed with the design and images you choose.

Can I change the image on my shell if I decide I want something new?
Nope. Shells are permanently printed with the design and images you choose. Of course, you can buy a new
shell whenever you like.

How durable are the shells?
Printed shells are manufactured to the same standards used for the original shell that came with your
Sidekick.
Accidental drops or dings can damage a printed shell in the same way as they would the
original shell.
The design is directly printed on the shell, so it won't peel off.

Can shells be reused?
You bet! You can change your shells whenever you like. Let your Sidekick's shell mirror your mood, style,
or outfit of the moment.

Will the shells work on any other device?
Nope. Sidekick shells are manufactured specifically for this version of the Sidekick.

My shell is dirty...how do I clean it?
Use a soft dry cloth and remove oil and dirt.

Can I order without a credit card?
We currently only allow online orders using credit cards as the payment method.
Don't have a credit card?
You can purchase a Pin Card from a T-Mobile retail store that can be used to redeeem Sidekick Shells on the website.

How do I use a Sidekick Shell Pin Card?
- 1. Select the product and design that you wish to purchase
- 2. Add selected product to your shopping cart
- 3. Checkout and enter you PIN Code on the order payment selection page.
Note: If there is not enough credit on your PIN Code, the checkout system will ask you to make up the difference
using a credit card. If there is a balance remaining on the PIN Code after you place your order, you may use it on
a future purchase.

Currency Exchange
Currency exchanges are done at the time of purchase through your credit card company. Please contact your
individual issuer for details on their currency conversion rates.

What is the Sidekick Shell Return Policy?
There are two different policies depending on what type of shell you have purchased.

1. On-Demand Shells - "On-Demand shells" are any custom shells made using the customizer in the "Create Your Own" section or selected from library of designs in the "Browse Shells" section of the website. - No Refund or Exchanges for these types of shells

2. Premium Sidekick Shells - "Premium Sidekick shells" are shells also sold at T-Mobile retail stores, found in the "Premium Shells" section of the website. - 30 Day Return Policy for these types of shells

1) Personalized/Custom Shells
No Refunds or Exchanges
We do not offer refunds or Exchanges for Personalized/Custom Shells. Due to the custom printing process you have 2 hours to accept or reject your art work prior to printing. This is a custom printed shell and due the custom nature of this product all sales are final.
2) Solids/Pattern Shells
Premium Sidekick Shells 30 Day Return Policy
Your request for a return must be within 30 days of placing your order. We do not allow returns after 30 days.
- 1. Contact Customer Service - If your request is within 30 days of purchase please contact customer service at 1-(888) 513-1213 or sidekickshells@skinit.com to request an RMA number and a UPS (ERL) Electronic Return Label.
- 2. RMA & ERL - You will receive your (ERL) Electronic Return Label via email 24 to 48 hours after contacting customer service. Please put this label on the box your shell came in and drop it off at your nearest UPS shipping center.
- 3. Service Center - (ERL) Electronic return labels can take up to 5 to 7 business days to arrive at our service center.
- 4. Customer Service/Refund - Customer Service will provide a refund back to your credit card within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the (ERL).
- 5. Process Timeline
- a. Customer Service/Process ERL Request - To send you an (ERL) can take up to 24 to 48 hours.
- b. ERL - Approximate return shipping time can be 5 to 7 days depending from where your (ERL) is being sent from.
- c. Service Center /Refund - 24 to 48 hours to process (ERL) return. Refund processed.
- d. Timeline - Total process can take up to 10 to 12 days.

UPS Mail Innovations (UPS MI) has been a National Account of the United States Postal Service (USPS) business
partner segment since 1997. Through this work-share partnership, we provide global mail services.
The program works like this:
UPS MI picks up the mail, processes (sorts) and transports your mail to the USPS.
Then:
The USPS accepts your mail piece and makes the final delivery to your mailing address.

How will my order be shipped?
All orders are shipped through UPS Mail Innovations, unless you have selected UPS Next-Day Air, Second-Day
Air, or Ground. The length of time it will take to receive your order depends on which shipping option you use,
with Next-Day Air being the fastest and Mail Innovations being the slowest.

How much does shipping cost?
The price for shipping varies based on the items and item quantities in your cart. When you check out you
will be presented with a final review page before you are charged detailing all shipping, handling, and taxes
which are in addition to the price of the Shell.
